A very fine and extremely rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced Quality Extra pocket watch with 30 hour power reserve indicator made by Patek Philippe in Geneva,
circa 1911. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. A polished case with the monogram SCL on the back, and a numbered and signed gold cuvette engraved, presented to S.C. Leonard Sept. 18, 1918 by Detroit Rolling Mill Employees. Signed white enamel dial with black Breguet hours, an outer minute track, outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock, a 30 hour power reserve indicator at 12 and Louis XV hands. The nickel plated bridge movement with Geneva striping decoration, 21 jewels, wolfteeth winding wheels, a blued balance spring, Guillaume gold screw compensation balance, diamond endstone on the balance, counterpoised lever and an index spring fine adjusting device
