A fine, rare Swiss unusual 18-carat gold quarter repeating half skeletonized pocket watch with multicoloured gold automaton Jaquemarts, circa 1820.
Gilt skeletonized full-plate movement, cylinder escapement, three-arm plain brass balance, flat balance spring, repeating work set on the backplate, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Case polished with a reeded band and gilt cuvette. White enamel dial with annular chapter ring, Breguet numerals, outer minute ring, and blued steel Breguet hands.
