Gold skeletonized lever chronograph with register

A fine Swiss, rare and unusual, oversized, 18 Carat yellow gold skeletonized pocket watch, circa 1970. With split seconds chronograph and 30 minute register. Made as a prototype in the late 1970’s. A massive case, engine-turned bezel, transparent back, co axial start/stop in the crown, olive pusher in the band at 11 o’clock, sapphire crystals. The dial has an engraved blackened gold chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, an inner gold chapter ring with black five minute/seconds Arabic numerals and 1/5th second divisions. Black hands. A skeletonized movement, gilt brass and brushed steel, fully chased and engraved, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometre regulator. Visible brushed steel chronograph work on the backplate.
