A very fine and rare Swiss 18K pink gold coin watch inserted in a Mexican 50 peso gold coin, circa 1970. Bearing on one side: 50 pesos, 37.5 gr. oro puro, 1821-1947 and the effigy of an angel, on the other side, an eagle with a snake in his beak, and the words: Estados Unidos Mexicanos. Double case, the coin opening with a push piece in the band, reeded band, three body hinged inner case. Matte silver dial with painted baton indexes and oxidised gold baton hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, self compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed.
