Gold and enamel keyless lever

Extremely fine Swiss 18K gold and enamel keyless lever dress watch, circa 1920. Summer Flowers by Marc Chantre. Polished case, the back cover finely painted with flowers including roses, pansies and bellflowers against a dark blue translucent guilloché ground, the bow decorated with dark blue guilloché champlevé enamel. Hinged gold cuvette.

 

White enamel dial, decorated with flowers to match the case, applied raised white enamel cartouches with black Breguet numerals, outer white enamel minute track and frosted gold Breguet hands. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, flat-blued steel balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed. Comes with a matching gold and enamel chain and the original fitted presentation box
