A rare Swiss gunmetal open faced pocket watch with convertible 24 hour dial, circa 1880. The movement with a lever escapement. Gilded dial with black Arabic 24 hours on a white enamelled ground, a faded, outermost minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and partially replaced spade & whip hands. A plain case. Case numbered.
