Geneva hunting cased pocket watch with original box, circa 1920. This timepiece features an 18 carat gold polished case engraved with the monogram AÖ. It has a signed gold dome with an inscription that reads: “Till Axel Öberg på 50 årsdagan, 13/7/1924, av vänner” (translated as “For Axel Öberg, 50th anniversary, 07/13/1924, from his friends”). The enamel dial is signed and showcases Arabic Art Deco numerals, an auxiliary seconds hand, and gold spade hands. The frosted, gilt movement is signed and includes a gold screw compensation balance.
