Fine and rare Swiss gold, enamel, rose-cut diamond-set, keyless Art Nouveau ladies’ watch, circa 1900.
Matte gilt, calibre 12, movement, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track with red Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the golden seconds, and original gold Louis XV-style hands. 18K gold case, case edge with deep relief structure, rocailles and flowers, blue guilloche (engine turned) enamel on the back, a star motif in the centre, set with diamond roses. Dial, case and movement signed.
