A Swiss lever in a silver half hunter case, hallmarked Birmingham circa 1934. Gilt split three-quarter plate 15 jewels keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, and blue steel half hunter hands. Plain silver Dennison half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring. Maker’s mark ‘ALD’ in a rectangle, silver cuvette. The back cover also bears a special hallmark for George V Silver Jubilee showing the profile of crowned George V and Queen Mary.
