A Swiss 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph pocket watch with triple calendar and moon phases, circa 1900. This watch features a glazed nickel plated movement with 25 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, a cut bimetallic compensation balance, a steel balance spring and an index regulator. The gongs, activated by a slide on the band, repeat the time. It has a white enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer track for minutes and fifths of seconds and red Arabic markers for five minute and second intervals. Additionally, there are subsidiary dials for seconds at 6 o’clock, the date at 12 o’clock, and apertures for the days of the week, months and phases of the moon, finished with blued steel spade hands. The case is made of 14 carat yellow gold with an engine turned design and a reeded band. It features a gold cuvette inscribed John Cordano From A Friend, A. Nicolet. The case, dial and movement are all signed.

The case is in very good overall condition. It comes with a slide repeat. The gold mark on the bow is clear and visible. The enamel dial is generally in good condition with light dust and a small hairline at 6 o’clock. The top subdial shows very light pitting. The repeater is chiming in phase and the movement is running.
