Gold open faced pocket watch attributed to Haas Neveux

A Swiss remarkable, very fine, heavy minute repeating gentleman’s pocket watch with chronograph, so called “Trip Repeater”, circa 1900.
18 carat gold case with Repoussé foliate and flower decor on a chased ground, florally engraved band and pendant, gold dome, pusher for chronograph at “1” and pusher for repetition via pendant. Gold engine turned dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, 60 min. counter, centre chronograph hand and blued spade hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, finely ground, bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, “Patent 15833”, Geneva quality hallmark, screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, index spring fine adjusting device, counterpoised lever.
