A very fine Swiss Naviquartz III chronometer, made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1975. With center seconds, stop feature and battery power reserve indicator in a mahogany deck box. White enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, outer minute track, below on the brushed brass dial plate two apertures, right for push button activating power reserve indication, left for the indicator and original black Breguet hands. Movement with quartz standardization, electronic, hack mechanism for stopping for precision setting. Three-tier box, hinged, corners and sides reinforced by brass inlays in the tradition of marine chronometers, the interior of the lid with an applied vacant brass plaque, bottom with a folding brass stand. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
