A fine American, nickel, keyless, deck lever chronometer with 48-hour power reserve indication, in original mahogany fitted box, circa 1941. Sold to the U.S. Navy. Screwed milled bezel and back. Antimagnetic inner protecting cap. Silvered dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down. Black Spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating balance spring with terminal curve and special micrometric index. Signed on the dial and movement.
