A Swiss stainless steel open faced pocket watch with contract case, retailed by Bucherer, circa 1940. The watch features a mechanical spiral Breguet movement with 17 jewels and a lever escapement. It has a salmon coloured dial with Arabic radial hours, an inner railway minute track, and baton hands. The stainless steel case has a sapphire snap on case back. Both the dial and movement are signed.

The case is in good condition, exhibiting oxidation, surface scuffing, and scratches typical for its age and use. The upper bezel area shows more noticeable surface scuffing. The crystal glazing has surface scuffing as well. The dial displays light wear and some surface marks throughout, with a mark on the outermost perimeter between 12 and 1. The chapter ring and indexes have some surface scuffs and a light patina. The movement is operational.
