A Swiss stainless steel open faced lever pocket watch with two tone dial, circa 1940. The watch features a 16″‘ calibre ligne movement with 21 jewels and a lever escapement. It has a two tone silver dial with applied Arabic radial hour markers, baton style five minute indexes, an outer minute track with Arabic ten minute divisions, a small seconds subdial, and original baton hands. The stainless steel case has a decorative snap-on case back. The case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The case is in very good condition with well defined, crisp edges. The stepped bezel is clearly outlined, and the texture and decoration on the case back remain appealing. There are some light surface scratches and general wear throughout. The case band shows some scratches and scuffs from opening and closing. The dial is in very good overall condition with minimal wear and surface dust. There is a small spot of loss and corrosion between 1 and 2. The dial has some light surface marks and spots, with minor wear around the perimeter of the applied indexes. The movement is operational.
