A unique Swiss 18K gold and enamel hunting cased lever pocket watch in the style of the school of Blois of the 17th century, circa 1887. High-quality Patek Philippe movement, moustache lever escapement, wolf’s toothing. Original white enamel Louis XV dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, pink gold Louis XV hands. Case with polychrome enamel scenes on both sides, the front with a young lady sitting against a wall, a castle view in the background, the back showing a very fine landscape with a mountain river, professionally restored at the hinge rim. Case and movement matching number. Comes with an Extract from the Archives confirming the complete originality of the watch

According to research, this piece is the only known Patek Philippe pocket watch with a case of this kind and quality. Only one other enamel watch with similar decoration is known but in the cabriolet version, No. 74861, sold by Dr Crott for € 85.000.
