A fine and elegant, thin Swiss, keyless platinum Art Deco dress watch with white gold and pearl chain, circa 1947. Sold on April 6, 1948. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A polished and brushed case. Brushed silver dial with white gold faceted baton indexes, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. White gold dauphine hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
