Gold heavy hunting case pocket watch

A very fine, heavy hunting case pocket watch with split seconds chronograph and independent quarter jumping seconds “Seconde Foudroyante”. circa 1885. The case is 18k gold, tiered, engine-turned, à goutte, glazed movement with enamel, radial Roman numerals, sunk center and quarter seconds indication, signed, blued Breguet hands. Bridge movement, gold chatoned, nickel-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, polished screws, 2 going barrels with seesaw winding and click works, finely matted, bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever, ruby endstone on balance and lever.
