Gold open faced musical watch

A fine Swiss gentleman’s quarter repeating pocket watch with musical movement playing on the hour or at will, circa 1820.
Case 18 carat gold, engine-turned, gilt-hinged cuvette, bolt at 6 o’clock to activate the music, lever at 9 o’clock protruding from under the cuvette for music/silent.
Gold, flinqué radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, a corn and oak-leaf decoration between the numerals, engine-turned centre and outermost. Blued steel serpentine hands.
Gilt brass movement with fixed barrels and cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance with flat balance spring, sur plateau musical movement, 27 tuned vibrating blades acting on both sides of the pinned disc, repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant.
