Made for the XVI. Deutsche Bundesschiessen in der freien und Hansestadt Hamburg 1909 (16th German national shooting competition, Hamburg 1909)
Silver lavishly engraved case with embossed. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and blued cathedral hands. 1/2 plate movement, frosted, gilt, Patent 31457, with screwed chatons and gold screw compensation balance.

The 16th German national shooting competition (“Deutsches Bundesschiessen”) was held in Hamburg from July 11 to 18, 1909. Four thousand two hundred marksmen from 9 different nations competed in the 181 positions of the range.
