A rare Swiss pocket watch for shooting contests 50. Eidg. Schützenfest Luzern 1979.
Silver matted case with ornamented in high relief, likeness of Wilhelm Tell after the artistic design of Hans Erni, Lucerne. Signed white enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, and Louis XVI hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated, with Geneva Stripes decoration, chatoned, five adj., nineteen jewels, shock protection, Glucydur screw balance and index spring fine adjusting device.

This traditional Swiss shooter’s watch is decorated with a modern version of the high relief picture of Wilhelm Tell that was designed by the artist Hans Erni of Lucerne. The shape of the watch is classic, and it is fitted with the very slim calibre 952 movement that was used for wristwatches as well as pocket watches.
