A rare Swiss quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph and watch chain, circa 1900.
14 carat rose gold “à goutte” case with monogram “FD”,  engraved and numbered gold dome, pusher for chronograph at “12”, slide for repeating mechanism and glazed movement. Enamel dial, radial Roman hours, red outer chronograph scale 0-300, centre chronograph hand and paste-set hands. Decorated 4/5 plate movement, rhodium-plated, finely ground, with bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, screwed chatons, screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
