Gold hunting cased pocket watch by Longines

A very fine, rare Swiss minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph “the horse race” and original mahogany box, circa 1911.
18 carat gold, chased, à goutte case, the front lid decorated with an applied relief depicting heads of three Arabian horses, the back side with an engraved monogram, with signed gold dome “Chronografo-Contador Repetition A cuartos y a Minutes”, pusher for chronograph at “2”, and slide for repeating mechanism. Signed enamel dial with Arabic “Empire” numerals, auxiliary seconds, 30 minute counter and spade hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated and very finely matted, with “Geneva striping” decoration, bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, two hammers, two gongs, screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
