A very fine, rare and heavy Swiss keyless minute-repeating, 18-carat yellow gold and diamond, keyless hunting cased pocket watch. Repoussé’s front cover is decorated with a sower of a wheat scene, circa 1900.
Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, jewelled, lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Gold hinged cuvette.
White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, and decorative gold hands.
Case with repoussé front cover decorated with a scene of a sower of wheat and diamond. Dial, case and movement signed. Accompanied by the original fitted box.
