A distinguished Geneva minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch – made for Arthur K. Kaime, St. Louis, Missouri on order from Merrick, Walsh & Phelps, St. Louis, Missouri – with original exotic wooden box, circa 1887.
18-carat rose gold case with two different engraved monograms. Signed white enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minutes track with red Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold Louis XV hands. Signed bridge movement, two hammers / two gongs, and gold screw compensation balance.
