Silver watch attributed to Prince de Galles

A Swiss silver, gilt and painted on enamel musical pocket watch, circa 1790. The back with a gold paillon peacock, decorated with a pearl set, diamonds and a ruby. Made for the Chinese market, and attributed to Prince de Galles. An Empire case, spring loaded back finely painted on enamel with a flower and peacock paillon decoration, pearl set bezels, pendant and bow. Gilt brass cuvette hinged to the movement ring. White enamel dial, large radial Roman numerals, enamel outer minute and seconds divisions and gold Ovoid hands. Gilt brass, full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fixed going barrels for the going and musical trains, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end piece, silver regulation dial.
