A fine Swiss, 18K gold, enamel, white gold, platinum and rose-cut diamond-set, keyless, lady’s pendant watch, circa 1890. Retailed by Henry J. Howe, Syracuse, New York. An engine-turned bezel and back decorated with stripes of grey enamel alternating with polished white gold, central rose diamond-set platinum cartouche. Hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track with outermost red five-minute numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement à moustaches, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
