An early Swiss repoussé pair cased verge watch repeater, circa 1740.
Silver pair cases, both pierced: 1st case repoussé with mythologic scene, 2nd with birds, mythical creatures and grotesque face. Very complicated early verge movement with repeating hours and quarters, main plate signed, splendid bridge with grotesque face and bell. White enamel dial (professionally restored) with Arabic minutes, Roman hours and silver hands.
