A very fine, small Geneva Art Nouveau gold enamel pendant watch with matching pearl-set brooch, circa 1911. Sold on 10/21/1913 with Patek Philippe extract from the archives.
Case is 18 carat gold, the bezel and back cover ornamented with translucent blue-grey enamel over an engine turned ground, a diamond in the centre framed by a diamond-set platinum rosette and a gold dome with engraving “Victoria”. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gold Louis XV hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, signed, with wolfteeth winding wheels, screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
