Silver lever watch with early rare winding mechanism

A rare shaped pocket watch with Courvoisier winding mechanism, in the original retail box and with an Extract from the Archives made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1884. The numbered solid open faced case, crafted from silver, has a monogram on the back and a cuvette with the inscription H. Pleister 277. Regent St London. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, a sunk subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and spade hands. The extremely rare caliber movement is fitted with a moustache lever escapement and a special winding crown according to Courvoisier.
Case and movement have matching numbers, and the cuvette is signed.
