Pocket watch with luminous dial

A pocket watch with unusual luminous numerals, manufactured by the International Watch Company in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, during WWII, circa 1942. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from stainless steel and the unusual original dial with luminous material features an outer minutes and hour track with Arabic luminous hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and luminous hands. The movement is equipped with an IWC precision lever escapement, Geneva striping decoration and gold chatons.
The dial is signed.
