A Swiss verge in a ruby set three colour gold open face case, circa 1820. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Winding through the engine turned gold dial, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Matted gold case with applied three colour gold decoration and set with small rubies. The front bezel opened by depressing a button in the pendant.
