A Swiss verge in a three colour gold ruby set open face case, circa 1820. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock, steel coqueret with garnet endstone, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Gold dial with applied two colour gold decoration around the edge. White enamel minute ring and cartouches with Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Gold open face case decorated with applied two-colour decoration set with rubies. Sprung front bezel opened by depressing a button in the gold pendant.
