A very fine Geneva lever chronometer pocket watch, circa 1900. The watch features an 18-carat gold polished à goutte case with a gold dome. Its enamel dial is signed and displays Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, and blued Breguet hands. The ground rhodium-plated bridge movement of the watch is decorated with fausses côtes and bears the Geneva quality hallmark. It also features wolfteeth winding wheels, a Guillaume gold screw compensation balance, an index spring fine adjusting device, and a counterpoised lever.

Haas Neveux & Cie was a company that originated from B. Haas Jeune & Cie. It was founded by Benjamin Haas and based in Geneva. It had offices in New York, Paris, Cannes, and Besançon and was listed as a Manufacture. In 1902, Haas Neveux & Cie. won the first prize for precision in the competition held by the renowned Observatoire de Geneve. 1913, the company was granted a Swiss patent with the number 63652. 1914. It also won the award for the best marine chronometer and various other awards, including a record award for the best regulation, in the competition held by the Geneva Observatory. The same year, it won a grand prize at the exhibition in Bern. In 1929, Haas Neveux & Cie. became a jury member at the world exhibition in Barcelona. The company was last listed in 1939.
1991, the company was re-established, and the brand now belongs to SWC Company Ltd. in South Korea, formerly known as Samsung Watch Co.
