A Swiss heavy pocket watch with chronograph and 30 min. counter with original wooden box, circa 1950. A magnificent dial on the front and a no less remarkable, distinctive Excelsior Park calibre CH.500 on the back – with its unique spare parts compartment next to the balance cock.
Silver case, glazed movement. Silvered dial, jumping centre seconds, two sunk subsidiary dials, one for constant seconds and one for 30 minute counter, signed “EXCELSIOR PARK, CHRONOGRAPHE COMPTEUR“, Arabic numerals, blued steel hands. Bridge movement, Glucydur balance, signed movement.
