A Swiss 18K white gold and diamond, keyless dress-pocket chronometre watch, circa 1920. Satine silver dial with 11 baguette diamond indexes, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial and white gold baton hands. Rhodium plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.

Zenith SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker. The company was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle in the canton of Neuchâtel and is one of the oldest continuously operating watchmakers. Favre-Jacot invented the concept of ‘in-house’ movements, believing that only through control of the entire watchmaking process, perfection could be achieved.
