An elegant Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel, pearl set pocket watch with matching detachable gold chatelaine, circa 1780. A solid, hinged case, the bezel with split pearls set within gold chatons. The back is decorated with gold paillons in a geometric pattern of ovals on a royal blue translucent ground, bordered with a split pearl. Accompanied by a detachable gold, enamel, and pearl chatelaine with a key. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and outer dot minute divisions, Arabic fifteen minute numerals and gold Breguet hands. Matte gilt, bar calibre movement, 19 jewels, lever escapement, two arm balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
