An exquisite Swiss 18 carat gold enamel and split pearls set open-faced watch is believed to have been crafted for the discerning Chinese market around 1835. It features a gilt full plate cylinder movement with a three-arm ring balance and polished steel indicator, The dark blue Polychrome enamel case back Gold cuvette finely engraved with a summer flowers bouquet and the band with black and white cloisonné enamel add to its allure. The watch also boasts a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, an outer minute track, and blued steel Breguet hands, as well as subsidiary seconds at six. Both bezels and the bow are adorned with split pearls, further enhancing its elegance. Signed movement and dial.
