A very fine and rare, thin Swiss, 18K gold, platinum, enamel and rose-cut diamond-set, keyless, dress watch, circa 1920. Art Deco Enamel & Diamonds watch by Wegelin Fils, Genève. The back is overlaid with black enamel, bezel en suite, band and bow set with rose-cut diamonds, winding crown set with a cabochon black onyx. Brushed silver dial, champlevé Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
