Along with Suzanne Rohr and L. Pellarin-LeRoy, Marthe Bischoff was one of the very few enamellists capable of producing such exquisite work for Patek Philippe. Each of the watches painted by Bischoff was made as a unique piece. Her scrupulous attention to detail and long experience with the technique of painting on enamel could be said to have reached its zenith in the creation of the present watch.
