Along with Marthe Bischoff and L. Pellarin-LeRoy, Suzanne Rohr was one of the very few enamellists capable of producing such exquisite work for Patek Philippe. Each of the watches painted by Rohr was made as a unique piece. Her scrupulous attention to detail and long experience with the technique of painting on enamel could be said to have reached its zenith in the creation of the present watch.

Albert Anker was born in 1831 and died in 1910.
