An attractive watch by Graham with an interesting history. The movement, was presented to the Clockmakers Company by Sir John Thorold Bt. In 1818. It was sold by the Company at Sotheby’s in 1981.  The new owner then bought the original cases and dial of Graham watch and fitted movement to them.  The numbers are so close that it is possible the movement and case were in Graham’s workshop at the same time over 250 years earlier.
