A Swiss 18 Carat gold, enamel and diamond set open faced cylinder pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1830. Bridge movement, key wind, going barrel, three arm brass balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions. The case back with a polychrome enamel bouquet of summer flowers including roses, dahlias, poppies and forget me nots on a pale blue ground, both bezels, the pendant and bow are set with split pearls. Dial signed, case numbered.
