Silver repeating full hunter chronograph

A fine and large Swiss silver hunting cased quarter-repeating keyless lever pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1900. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by a push button on the band, centrifugal governor. The hinged silver cuvette is engraved with award medals, a glazed silver-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute and outermost chronograph divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, gilt Louis XV hands. An engine-turned case with polished borders, a vacant cartouche on the front. Cuvette signed, case numbered.
