A fine 14 carat rose gold open faced Glashütte lever pocket watch, circa 1895. ¾ Plate movement, DUF, a piston tooth lever escapement and screw compensation balance. A gold dome inscribed 1871-1896. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, an outer minute track, red Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and Louis XIV hands. The plain case with engraved monogram RP on the back. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered, movement and case with matching numbers.
