Rose gold repeating automaton ring watch

A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold, enamel and diamond set quarter repeating automaton ring watch attributed to Piguet & Capt, circa 1810. The rectangular shaped, gilt finished movement with a cylinder escapement located within the bell, one going barrel, one fixed repeating barrel, two hammers and a single bell for the quarter repeating.
The octagonal case with a diamond set bezel, the front featuring an enamel blue sky with a village and mountain scenery in the lower half, the upper half centered by a visible diamond set balance surmounted by two putti, their rose gold and enamel automaton arms alternately striking the hours and quarter hours onto two small rose gold bells in unison with the repeating, a small white enamel dial with Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track, Arabic quarter hours and original Breguet hands below. A repeating slide is on the side of the ring, the reverse with a rose gold sliding cover for winding and hand set apertures. Comes with the fitted presentation box and key.
