A fine and very rare French 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases, circa 1890. The movement with a lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, Arabic five minute numerals, an outermost fifth of a second track, subsidiary dials for the months and four year cycle at 12 o’clock, days of the week at 9, the date at 3, an aperture for the moon phases with concentric auxiliary seconds at 6 and original gold spade & whip hands. The polished case with a monogram on the front. Case signed and numbered.
