A Swiss 14 carat rose gold open faced keyless pocket watch with 24 hour indication made by Vacheron Constantin SA in Geneva, circa 1900. The frosted gilt movement with a straight line lever escapement, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, a cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and swan neck micrometre regulator. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours numerals, outer minute divisions, an inner red Arabic 24 hour track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold spade hands. The plain case with an engraved coat of arms on the back. Dial and cuvette signed, case and movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original presentation box.
