An English 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by John Rogers in London, London Hallmarked for 1887. The gilt ¾ plate movement with an English lever escapement, and cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. A polished hinged case. Dial and movement signed, and with matching numbers.
