An American 9 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by the American Waltham Watch Company in Waltham, Massachusetts, Birmingham Hallmarked for 1915. The movement is adjusted in 5 positions, has a Swiss lever escapement and 23 jewels. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued spade hands. The polished case with a monogram on the back and a presentation inscription on the cuvette. Dial signed Waltham U.S.A., case numbered and stamped A.L.D., movement signed and numbered.
